The Start and Stop times on the Operation page are not transmitted in an Eclipse claim. To transmit times, you must add them individually to each item.

 

 

You can type the time individually for one or more items.

 

Double click the column heading Time to enter the operation start time into all items.

 

Individual item times are not usually required for claiming. However, they are useful in some instances when the assessing staff have to make decisions. For example, when claiming the after hours modifier 25025, or after hours epidurals. They can also be useful to indicate that one item such as pre- or postoperative consultation was a separate attendance.
