Screen resolution |

Access Anaesthetics requires a screen resolution of at least 800 x 600 pixels to function properly. If your screen resolution is less than this, say 640 x 480, you will be prompted to allow the resolution to be changed to 800 x 600. If you do not accept this change, the system will close. Otherwise the screen resolution will be set to 800 x 600.
Access Anaesthetics will actually open in a Window of 800 by about 550. This is so that there is space for the Windows taskbar at the bottom of the screen. If you also have a Microsoft Office toolbar visible on the screen, this may cause parts of the Access Anaesthetics window to be obscured. Therefore, for 800 x 600 screens, we recommend that you turn off the Office toolbar (by setting Auto Hide to On), and keep the Windows taskbar on the bottom of the screen.
If your screen resolution is greater than 800 x 600, say 1024 x 768, Access Anaesthetics will open in a window of size 800 x 600. You can resize or maximise the screen if you wish. If you do, most of the objects on the forms will remain the same size but the datasheet screens will expand so that you can see more rows and columns. The List of Accounts and List of Payments screens can be customised so that larger fonts are used to make data easier to read on higher resolution screens.
For high resolution screens, there is a button on the Miscellaneous page of the Options form which will allow you to save the window size so that the next time Access Anaesthetics opens, it will open at your preferred size. |
