Worksafe Victoria has a fee schedule that is used in Access Anaesthetics in the same way as any other health fund fee schedule is used for gap-cover fees. As well as their fee schedule, Worksafe Victoria have an alternative payment method for anaesthetists that they refer to as the 'Time engaged' method. This is normally published in the PDF version of their fee schedule available on their website (http://www.worksafe.vic.gov.au/, navigate to Health professionals > Medical practitioners > Medical services reimbursement rates). In Access Anaesthetics, this payment system can be set up by going to Maintenance > Time based fees. Once set up, the fees are added to the Items page by selecting MyOwn, then selecting the appropriate option from the drop-down box labeled 'Insert time-based item'.
