When a doctor has his accounts done by a group practice using Access Anaesthetics he may choose to run Access Anaesthetics on his own computer to view his own data. This requires the practice to create a satellite data file for the doctor and send it to him. The doctor can then open his own copy of Access Anaesthetics and import the data sent by the practice. This is usually done on a regular basis so that the doctor can review the work done by the practice.

The satellite version is effectively a read-only system since data cannot be sent back to the practice. However, the satellite version can be used for generating reports based on the data managed by the practice.

There is an annual fee for the satellite version. Installation involves installing the standard trial version, and then registering it as a satellite. Click here for further details.
