The only nerve block items that are allowable in a anaesthesia service are 22031-22050. If you have done an epidural (item 18216) followed by an anaesthesia service (e.g. 20850, caesar) you should put 18216 as the first item on the account, and include the times that this and the 20850 were done. Otherwise the 18216 will be rejected. Alternatively, put the epidural on a separate account.
