March 2021 Update for Cutting Edge and Access Anaesthetics users

Attached to this newsletter is a progress update on the new version of our software, along with some screenshots of the new features.

The key points are:

•	Our transition to Webservices is nearly complete, making CESoft the first and currently the only specialist billing application that has fully migrated, well ahead of Medicare's March 2022 deadline

•

The new online functions include Overseas Claims for students and temporary visa holders; Online Eligibility Checking with health funds and Medicare, to determine the patient's schedule and cover level and potentially information on specific items; improved reporting on Medicare claims; Concession checking; Immunisation Register (AIR) support; and many other features

•	Screens have been optimised with collapsible sections to maximise what you want to see

•	We’ve added better support for calculating and printing Gap accounts

•	A calendar module comes as a standard feature for all accounts, with support for multiple providers. Operating lists in the calendar can be linked to relevant invoices for easy workflow

•	We’ve added the ability to import theatre lists directly from a number of PDF formats. Once set up for your practice, this will dramatically streamline data entry

Our core features remain the same

•	Great support from our knowledgable team

•	Your accounts are securely accessible from anywhere

•	CESoft has many built-in security features

•	Manual backups not required, this is done automatically on the server

•	Software updates are done automatically, you’re always on the latest version

•	Fee schedule updates are available as soon as the funds release them

•	Privacy policies can be set for each user of the software, with differing access levels

•	There are no installation or maintenance issues such as network problems, file locations, repair/compact, refreshing lists, new PC installations, or accumulating disk files

We will be in touch in the near future with a further progress update and timelines for migration.

IFC (Informed Financial Consent)

A major feature of the new version of CESoft will be the ability for IFC to be done via SMS/Email (with a link to the Quote/Estimate) or via a dedicated web-page linked to your CESoft account. More information will be released in the next few weeks.

ASA Scientific Conference - Brisbane July 2021

CESoft will be an Exhibitor at this conference and will host a customer event on Friday 23 July to showcase the new software. Further details to be released in the next few weeks.

ASA Practice Managers Conference - Hobart August 2021

We are awaiting confirmation from the ASA that this event will be going ahead as planned. We will host an event on Thursday 12 July 201 - Save The Date. More information will be provided once we have confirmation from the ASA.
